Recipe: Chocolate Chia Pudding

Chocolate chia pudding topped with raspberries is the perfect treat for you and your loved ones this Valentine’s Day (or anytime)! Chia seeds have definitely earned their spot as a superfood. Here are just a few of chia seeds’ many health benefits:

Chia Seed Benefits

Serves 4-5

Ingredients: 

1/2 cup white chia seeds

1.5 cups almond milk (Elmhurst or Malk brands are high quality)

3 tbsp maple syrup (adjust to your sweetness preference)

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Pinch of sea salt

Toppings of your choice - peanut butter, granola, nuts/seeds, fresh or frozen fruit, raw honey, mini chocolate chips

Directions: 

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined.

  2. Cover and refrigerate for 8-12 hours. We recommend stirring once about 1-2 hours into the process and before serving to break up any clumps of chia seeds.

  3. When you’re ready to serve, scoop into bowl and top with your favorite toppings.
